What are Noodle AFOs

The Noodle family of AFOs are ankle foot orthoses/orthotics are external biomechanical devices utilized on lower limbs to stabilize the joints, improve the walk and physical functioning of the affected lower limb. The Noodle AFO is built to assist those with drop foot, Guillan Barre, other neuro motor problems with their legs.

The Problem with Noodle AFO

The manufacturers of the Noodle AFO family of products built a device that doesn’t fully brace the leg, and in fact, can put dangerous pressure on the bones in the lower leg leading to fractures.

The Primary Legal Concern

The manufacturers of Noodle AFOs Kinetic Research failed to warn doctors and patients that use of its devices could cause further harm.
